      SEDA Group, Australia running sports programs in IndiaSat 18th October 2014

      More of Australia’s world class sports education services are now being offered in India, after Centurion University of Technology and Management and Sports Education and Development Pty Ltd (SEDA) signed an agreement for development of sports and fitness vocational courses in India.

      SEDA will provide consulting services through the delivery of structured education and training in sports and sports services to Centurion University of Technology and Management. The project will deliver sport and recreation curriculum at the University and across India through schools, colleges and other institutions.

      The SEDA Centurion elective students’ first football clinic at Kendriya Vidyalaya School in Jatni, Odisha, India

      The partnership will also include professional development that will see SEDA staff regularly travelling to the university to train staff, build partnerships and shape applied courses.

      The course includes training in sports, fitness, wellness and lifestyle that focus on applied learning and vocational skills.

      The first visit of staff took place recently, with events including engagement in orphanages and schools for vision-impaired children.
