        • Australia Business Week India 2017
          28 August - 1 September 2017

          The second Australia Business Week in India (ABWI) will take place across multiple cities from 28 August to 1 September 2017.

          The Hon Steven Ciobo MP, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, is expected to lead the mission. India is Australia’s fifth-largest export market, with Australian merchandise and services exports valued at approximately A$13.5 billion in 2015. ABWI will promote Australian capability and expand Australia’s trade, investment and education relationships.

          Closing dates: 14 November 2016 for 1st semester 2017 & 30 May 2017 for 2nd semester 2017

          Study in Australia’s Northern Territory Scholarships are provided by the Northern Territory government and education providers to talented students from China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Nepal, Philippines, Timor-Leste and Vietnam to study in Australia’s Northern Territory.

          The scholarships recognise student’s academic merit, leadership and community engagement. The scholarships are worth School ($10,000), English language ($5,000), Vocational Education & Training ($7,500) and Higher Education - undergraduate and postgraduate ($12,000) and contribute to the student’s first semester, or year of tuition fees.

          Bangalore, 2nd March and New Delhi, 11th March 2016

          We have received a good response from both alumni and corporates for the events. So far we have these corporates for the Bangalore event TCS, Landmark Group, Langoor, Taj Group, Brookfield, ANZ Tech Centre. The Delhi conclave event has attracted ANZ, Brookfield, HCL, SMEC, Leighton, and Sannam s4, Genpact to participate.

          Following the success of Mumbai Australian Alumni Careers Conclave event, alumni and career office representatives from australian universities are invited to attend the latest instalment of Australian Alumni Careers Conclave in Bangalore on 2 March and Delhi on 11 March.

        • Applications for The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program 2017 round.
          Will open on 1 April 2016 and will close on 3 June 2016

          The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program provides funding to Australian universities and consortia to support Australian undergraduate students to participate in semester-based or short-term study, internships, mentorships, practicums and research in 38 host locations across the Indo-Pacific region.

          The Mobility Program is open to Australian university undergraduates aged 18-28, with capacity to include some students over 28.

          2015-16Last date: 20th October, 2015

          Under the Indo-Australia Collaboration between Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and the Australian Government, Indo-Australian Career Boosting Gold Fellowships (IACBGF) are announced.

          Under this initiative, the Government of India will fund ten (10) researchers from India. The fellowships will be supported to undertake a collaborative research project at a leading science institute or university Australia for a period of up to 24 months, commencing in 2015-16.
