India Australia Skills Conference: Skills for Better BusinessTue 11th November 2014

The Australia India Education Council is proud to launch the 3rd India Australia Skills Conference, the pre-eminent event in the India-Australia bilateral skills relationship.
On 10 November, prior to the 3rd India Australia Skills Conference will be the Confederation of Indian Industry, Global Summit on Skill Development 2014 focusing on “Global Experience – Linking Skills with Productivity”. This year’s summit will see Australia as a “Partner Country”. The Summit will also showcase innovative practices from around the globe.
At the 3rd India Australia Skills Conference, technical vocational education and training institute leaders from India and Australia will meet in Mumbai on 11 November 2014 together with Industry Skills Councils, Sector Skill Councils, peak bodies, senior industry representatives, government officials and policy makers from both countries.
This year’s Conference, Skills for Better Business, will prepare both Australian and Indian delegates for mutually addressing various skills and workforce development issues facing both countries.
The 2014 Conference presents an exciting opportunity for you to participate in a forum that brings together key players in the skills sectors of both countries. It provides a chance for you to:
- expand your awareness of the skills sector and labour market environments in India and Australia as well as policy drivers;
- understand the mutual benefits of Australia-India skills collaboration and partnerships;
- hear of current collaborative TVET training activities and partnerships; and
- explore innovative skills development collaboration and expand commercial relationships for your organisation
The 3rd India Australia Skills Conference is an initiative of the Australia India Education Council, a bilateral advisory body chaired by the Australian Government Minister for Education and the Indian Government Minister for Human Resource Development.
